Khloe Kardashian hails from one of the most famous if not the most famous families in Hollywood today. She’s been on our screens for years thanks to the hit reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians but it’s not been an easy road for her.

She was for many years called “the fat sister and struggled with her weight. However, that was her source of motivation to start doing something about it. She kept a positive mindset about her body, and inner strength which is why she embarked on a journey of transformation. Khloe understood that her fitness journey was only hers and she was doing it just for herself. It was supposed to be done on her own terms. Khloe managed to get in shape spotting a healthy and attractive figure.

How did she lose so much weight? Well, according to Khloe, she went on a dairy-free diet low in carbs. It involved a pre-workout snack, breakfast, lunch, a few snacks, and then dinner and dessert. She’d take almond butter and an apple as her pre-workout snack. Khloe’s breakfast would then involve boiled and scrambled eggs, oatmeal, and either strawberries or blueberries. For lunch, she’d eat some grilled skinless chicken breast, sweet potato, some vegetables, and a small portion of rice. Khloe’s after lunch snacks included cherry tomatoes, some nuts, or a fruit. Khloe would then have a balanced diet for dinner which involved some grilled fish, green leafy vegetable salad with some sunflower seeds, some oil-based vinaigrette dressing and she’d finish up with a piece of fruit.

Why this diet worked so well for Khloe is that it involved a healthy dose of both proteins and carbohydrates before hitting the gym for a good workout. Eating almonds is great as an energizer and eggs are a great source of proteins and vitamins. They are also rich in minerals. Whenever you start your day with some good protein, your energy levels stay high. Eating oats helped give her body the much-needed fiber so she’d stay full for a longer period. The blueberries or strawberries add some color to the meal alongside some vitamins and an extra dose of minerals.

Eating grilled chicken that’s skinless gives your body more protein and would help Khloe repair her torn muscles, of course as a result of working out. The vegetables would give her fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Her light dinner would have some fats through the green leafy veggies and sunflower seeds. The healthy fats reduce the inflammation and fish gives some good lean protein and omega 3 fatty acids. She would take some low glycemic index fruits for dessert. As you can see, her diet was both reasonable and doable.
