Ask anyone who they think the best entertainers are in history and no doubt Beyonce Knowles will be on that list. She is not only beautiful but is also incredibly talented. Beyonce has been an artist for years having started out in the girl band Destiny’s Child with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams that released hit after hit. They broke it off and went their separate ways. Beyonce’s solo career has been an amazing one ever since. Her energy is unmatched and it doesn’t look like she’s about to stop anytime soon.
Just one look at Beyonce and you’ll easily think everything about her comes easy as she sings and dances so effortlessly. Her poise and presence is unmatched. Beyonce’s body is also the kind many women would give anything to have. However, it doesn’t come as easy as it may seem and she’s the first to admit that it takes a lot of work to get what she has. Beyonce has been open about how much discipline it takes to achieve that figure, with the curves, and abs and all that physical strength women admire. She’s spoken a few times about her diet and fitness routine.
She’s embraced healthy eating and follows a low-calorie diet. She also avoids red meat and eats plenty of fish. Beyonce has also incorporated grains, which are very healthy, into her diet. However, she avoids rice and pasta. For breakfast, Beyonce prefers to eat foods such as vanilla chia pudding with a cup of fresh berries. For lunch, she goes for foods such as green apple sesame slaw, sweet potatoes, and red cabbage.
One of the times Beyonce’s diet has drawn a lot of interest in the past is right after Coachella. How did she manage to look so good right after having her twins Rumi and Sir? Well, Beyonce addressed this from how much she weighed before the event to how much she lost in total. Well aside from the regular exercising, Beyonce limited her diet to no carbs, no bread, no dairy, no alcohol, and no meat, just none of that tasty stuff. The star followed a 22-day nutrition program. This program was first launched by her friend Marco Borges who’s both a trainer and an exercise psychologist. According to Marco, this nutrition program leaves participants with more energy.
Away from the Coachella diet, Beyonce incorporates dance into her exercise routine. It’s only natural since dancing is one of the things she does best. She also picks low weights for this. Her workouts also involve some intense cardio so that she gains enough energy to move across the stage fast enough while singing. She does cardio involving sprinting and power walking.
Being a busy woman, when does she get the time to do all this exercising? Well, she takes advantage of every few extra minutes to do some push-ups, squats, sit-ups, and lunges. This is not to say that the simple exercises replace the major workouts because she allocates time for them. However, the small exercises do give her a boost throughout the day.
